Hey!

I started Redd-Design back in 2004 with the idea to provide small businesses with affordable graphic design services. Since then I’ve grown into providing web design and development services, as well as marketing consulting for my clients’ businesses.

So who am I?

I’m Ashley Hill, and way before I knew what any of the above were, I had a small little site for my artwork and hobbies. It was hosted by Tripod and built with their CMS system. Soon after, I wanted to do more and more with my site. I ended up buying a domain and hosting and taught myself basic HTML.

Starting out, much of my work on the web was trial and error, and learning about what’s new on the web is a never ending process. I think it’s immensely beneficial to my clients to keep up with the latest info and to continue learning.

Nowadays, my latest projects are mostly based in WordPress, and revolve around creating custom themes, and pushing the idea of using WordPress as a CMS (ie, this site is in WordPress). Besides being nose-deep in Notepad++, I am an avid cyclist and kayaker and during the day work here.
